Learner Profile Onboarding
Complete location, career, and skills fields recruiters use for discovery.
After your first sign-in, Tedlab Academy asks you to complete a short learner profile before the dashboard unlocks fully.
When it runs
After you confirm your email (or sign in with Google), you are sent to `/onboarding` until the questionnaire is finished. Existing learners without a complete profile are prompted the same way on their next visit to the dashboard or other protected areas.
Location fields
Choose your country, state or province (when applicable), city, and IANA time zone from searchable dropdowns. These power standup scheduling context and recruiter geography filters.
Career fields
Share your current role, desired role, years of experience, employment type, work mode, and availability. Role fields include suggestions—pick one or type your own.
Skills & links
List at least one technical skill (comma-separated). Optional portfolio and LinkedIn URLs help recruiters after you approve a contact request.
Privacy
Recruiters still see you anonymously until you approve an identity reveal. Onboarding data never exposes your email or legal name in search results.
