Checkpoints & Exams
Capstone Mock Exam
100-question course conclusion exam in Exam Dojo — always Q&A format.
Every published course includes a capstone mock exam at the end of the track — a comprehensive multiple-choice review, not a coding sandbox.
Format
Capstone exams always use Exam Dojo with 100 lesson-specific MCQs covering the full course. There is no terminal or code submission step.
Where to open it
On your enrolled course page (`/courses/{slug}`), the Capstone mock exam card appears below module checkpoints when you have assessment access. You can also open `/courses/{slug}/assessment/{specSlug}` directly.
Pass score & retries
Each exam shows a pass threshold (typically 70%). You may retry if you score below the threshold. Module unlocks are tied to module checkpoint submission, not capstone pass/fail — the capstone is for review and evidence.
Time limits
Capstone exams use a strict wall-clock timer (150 minutes for 100 questions). The countdown starts when you begin and cannot be paused — it keeps running even if you close the tab. A pre-start confirmation reminds you to block uninterrupted time. Only one in-progress capstone is allowed at a time. When time expires, your saved answers submit automatically (unanswered items score zero). Module checkpoints use an active timer you can pause.
